This year, we were invited by Uncle Jordan and Aunt Katie to join them at the Southwood Clubhouse for brunch and to meet Santa! I'm so glad we were able to make it to this lunch because it was our one and only time the kids saw Santa. We had plans to also see him that evening at the church Christmas party but Kate got really sick after lunch so we stayed home.
When Santa arrived that day, he came riding over the golf course in a bright red golf cart. All the kids went running outside to watch Santa take his seat on the porch and then we waited for our turn to talk to Santa. In addition to the candy canes each child received from Santa, the parents were given a free 5x7 picture. I love free pictures!
As the kids were waiting their turn to see Santa, we went out and checked out his golf cart.
When it was our turn, Mason started screaming at the top of his lungs, petrified of Santa. He clung to me with all his might so we ended up with a family picture. I guess this is better than nothing!

While the professional photographer took their pictures, I quickly took one of the Cowarts:After seeing Santa, we took a couple family pictures under the big oak tree by the clubhouse.

Love this picture of Gigi and Kate! They take the best pictures together.
Surprise, Mason didn't want to cooperate in our family picture!
This was such a great event and I hope we can go again in the future!
