Last Day of School

Where has the school year gone?! I have blinked and it is over.  Kate has had a fantastic first year at Roberts (and I am so thankful)!  Mason has had a great year at Good Samaritan, but we knew he would!

 They are SO precious:
And for comparison...

Ready for the summer!

Last Night at T-Ball!

Tonight was the last game of Kate's first t-ball season!  She was so excited to get a trophy and she told us she loved t-ball, not because of the trophy but because she had fun and tried her best. :) I think there maybe at least a couple more seasons in her future!
 Our little slugger.
Thank you to Gigi and Granddaddy for coming out (and Uncle Jordan and Camden who left before I could get their picture).

Also, thank you to Mimi and Papa for coming out too!
Great job, Kate!  We are so proud of you!

Our Weekend with the Mundies!

We have had the best weekend - the Mundie's came to visit!  I blinked and the weekend was over but we packed in as much fun and friends as we could!  Friday night, we enjoyed dinner at Red Elephant and went back to our house so the kids could play.  Kate, Mason, Maddox and Maclain all slept in Kate's room and Miller slept in the pack n' play in the office.  It was a packed house but we loved every minute of it!

On Saturday morning, the Mundie's came with us to watch Kate play t-ball.  It's hard to believe this was her next to last game!

 Coach Evers:
So much cuteness:

At one point, I looked over and saw Mason helping Miller put on his glove.  So precious!
After the game, we headed over to Tom Brown park to play and then a stop at our favorite lunch spot, Chick-fil-a (where else?!).

 Made it to the top!

That evening, we hosted a cookout at our house. I'm so glad the weather cooperated and everyone was able to come!
 The dads:
Justin, Raymond, Rob, Daniel, Mike and Jordan

The lovely mommas:
Katie, myself, Katie, Sarah and Tracy

and of course, the kiddos:
Back: Peyton, Kate, Maddox, Audrey, Maclain
Front: Sawyer, Landon, Miller, Mason and Camden

I had to do some serious bribing to get them to stand still long enough to snap a picture but cookies are a powerful thing.

This morning we all went to church together and then said our goodbyes.
We are looking forward to the next time we can get together!

Cooper's Baby Shower

On Saturday, we celebrated Aunt Katie and baby Cooper!  It was an adorable shower and lots of fun with good food and friends.

 Beautiful girls!

This was the diaper cake that Mom and I made for our gift:

We can't wait for Cooper to arrive!

Mother's Day 2016

My Mother's Day celebrations (plural) started out with a Mother's Day Tea at Kate's school.  Mrs. Pettway did a wonderful job decorating the classroom and tables and the kids were very excited to show us everything they had made for their moms.

 My beautiful card from Kate:
I love all the kisses. :)

Can't get enough of this sweet girl!  She knows how to make her momma feel special!
The next day, I went to Mason's school for their Mother's Day Tea.  The kids had a short program in the church and then we went over to their classroom for a party.

On Saturday, my parents invited us over for a family celebration.  They had the pool out and a new slip'n slide that Uncle Jordan showed the kids how to use.

Uncle Jordan decided to show the kids how a pro does the slip'n slide:

Not too bad.

Then Uncle Jordan soaped them up for a super fast ride!

 Wee!

We had a great time celebrating Mother's Day with all the special Mom's in our family!

On Sunday, we went to church and then off to the FSU baseball game!  It was so much fun and a great way to spend the day together.

 Beautiful day for a ballgame!

Mason wanted to wear his FSU hat just like Granddaddy!

It was a great end to a Mother's Day week!

Happy Father's Day!

I want to wish this special guy a Happy Father's Day!  One day Kate and Mason will realize how lucky they are to call him dad.  He coac...
