Sapp/Crews Family Reunion

This year we attended the Sapp/Crews family reunion for the first time in years.  This is a family reunion that Mimi and Aunt Linda grew up going to and it was neat to take the kids and be introduced to extended family members. It was important to Gaga to attend since she hasn't been able to go in years and I'm so thankful she was feeling good and could enjoy it!

Aunt Linda drove Gaga up on Thursday and we enjoyed spending time together during the weekend.  Mason had been sick the week before and Kate missed summer camp that Thursday and Friday with the same virus Mason had (high fevers).  We tried to limit her contact with Gaga that weekend to make certain she didn't pass along her germs.

The reunion is always the last Sunday in July in Lake Butler, Fl (middle of nowhere) at the Lake Butler Community Center.  It took us about two hours to drive down and it poured on us most of the day.  Unfortunately the kids weren't able to get out and enjoy the playground and mini water fountain next door to the Community Center because of the weather, but they were very well behaved despite being stuck indoors.
They were good sports and excited to go!
 Proud Papa.
 Matching in blue.
 My little bookworm.
She tried her best to entertain herself while we waited on lunch to begin.
Mason played on Snapchat to keep busy.

We represented part of the "Crews" side.
I'm so glad we were all able to go to the reunion!

Killearn Kids Music Night

This year, Kate was able to once again attend Killearn Kids Music Night.  It fell on the same week as swim lessons but we made it work so she was able to attend lessons and then rush to Killearn later that night.  She even had a solo this year and rocked it!

This has become one of my favorite things about summer camp!

 Ready for the big performance.
She in there....look in the middle!

Kate and Anna Kate.  The friendships she has developed both at school, church and camp are so sweet.  Kate is one blessed little girl.
Kate had quite the summer at Killearn Kids.  This particular day they had a field trip to Skate World.  Apparently this is what is purchased when you send her with $10 for snacks/game tokens.  We are excited to continue at Killearn for After School!

Camden's 4th Birthday!

I can't believe Camden is already four years old!  We celebrated with not one, but two pool parties since Uncle Jordan and Aunt Katie's pool was recently finished!  The night of his actual birthday, we met the rest of the family over at Camden's house for cake and swimming.
The birthday boy!
On the Saturday after his birthday, Camden had a big pool party with all his friends.  The weather was less than ideal but the upside was we didn't have to worry about sunscreen!
 Love Aunt Katie's yard signs!
Camden told us it was his birthday and no pictures, but I convinced him to take a couple. :)

But by this one, his true feelings showed.
In addition to the pool, they rented a huge water slide for the kids!

 And a Snow Cone Truck!

Love his surf board cookie cake from Publix!

We had a great time celebrating Camden turning 4!
Happy Birthday Cambo!

4th of July!

We had a fun 4th of July once again!  This year, the holiday fell on a Tuesday so we had a short break in the middle of the week, which made Wednesday feel like Monday all over again.  For the third year, Marleni and I ran in the Firecracker 5k downtown at Cascades Park.

 Love our cheering section!
After the race, we ate a big breakfast with the Bruner's at Cracker Barrel!  This has become one of my favorite 4th of July traditions!
Later that afternoon, we went over to Gigi and Granddaddy's house for swimming, a cookout and fireworks!
Since Camden was out of town at the beach, they had the pool all to themselves.

After dinner, we lit sparklers but someone decided quickly he didn't like them...

Happy 4th of July!

Cooper's 1st Birthday!

Our little Cooper is one and we have had a lot of fun celebrating!  On the night of his actual birthday, we all met at Red Elephant for a family dinner.

Playing in the game room with Birdie.

Aunt Libby was in town to celebrate too!
After dinner, Cooper his gifts with plenty of help from Camden and Kate.

 The birthday cake!
And what is a family dinner without family pictures before we left!

We had a great time celebrating Cooper turning 1!

Today, we went to Cooper's farm themed birthday party!

These guys were ready to party.
The yummy party food.

 Sweet birthday boy!

For Cooper's farm themed party, a petting zoo came!  There were rabbits, chickens, goats and a miniature horse.
Waiting on the animals to arrive.

After playing with the animals, we went inside to watch Cooper eat his cake.
The smash cake!

Singing "Happy Birthday"!  He loved it.

Cooper soaked up the attention and put on a show.

 Happy boy!
He devastated his cake!
