A Busy Start to the Holidays

December has been so busy for us - but in a good way!  Right after Thanksgiving, we drove up to Opelika (Auburn) to see the Mundie family!  We had been missing them so much and since they were a short drive away, we took advantage of our close distance.  We had a wonderful time and enjoyed spending time together!
Love this picture of all the kids lined up.

Every weekend in December has been packed with birthday/crafting parties and Christmas events(which I will do in separate posts).

Poor Kate caught a terrible stomach bug that lasted for four days.  I knew she was really sick when she didn't want to help put up Christmas decorations (or even watch us).  Daddy caught the bug too so it was just Mason and I...but he was a great helper!

After being sick for all those days, Kate was on the mend just in time to attend a crafting party at Noelle's house.  Mrs. Jennifer invited the girls over to make ornaments, decorate gingerbread houses and sip hot cocoa.  I stayed to lend a helping hand (and take pictures). :)

The next weekend, Kate was invited to Ramsey's 6th birthday party at Black's Horse Farm (out Mahan Rd).  We had never been there before so I was interested in checking the place out.  Ramsey ran up as soon as we arrived to give Kate a big hug.
 Sweet girls.

 Horse kisses.

 Kate loves horses.

The kids got to feed the horses, ride them and go on a carriage ride.  It was a fun birthday party!
