The first chance we got, we went to see Santa Claus! The same photographer that offered the Halloween mini session was also offering the Santa mini session so I signed the kids up. Who wouldn't want to avoid crowds and long lines? We got the VIP treatment for sure! Mason told me (up until we walked through the door) that he was not going to cry and was going to be a big boy. That last about 30 seconds because as soon as he saw Santa, he burst into tears. Kate proceeded to sit on Santa's lap and talk his ear off about her wish list. She soaked up every moment.
Mason wasn't the first crying kid Santa had encountered because he quietly got up and let Mason sit in his chair while he snuck around back for a cute picture.
Mason cautiously eased up to the chair and was cutting his eyes left and right to see where Santa disappeared to...all while forcing that "cheese" smile.
