I hosted a "Baby Sprinkle" for Laura Lasseter and baby Caden a couple weeks ago. Laura's sister, Jenna, did a great job on a lot of the decorations ahead of time, so we were able to use her creations and add a few more touches. Since Laura is having another boy, we decided to do a diaper shower because a new baby requires lots of diapers!
Justin worked so hard in the yard the Saturday before the shower. He cut the grass, trimmed and laid pine straw. Granddaddy helped him outside and Gigi and Aunt Katie helped me run errands, clean and decorate the house. It is a lot of work to host an event, but it's worth it when you end up with a nice yard, a clean house and happy friends!
Our guest of honor with her mother (right) and mother-in-law (left).
I had to take a picture of the house and give Justin credit for all his hard work!
The most adorable door hanger done by Aunt Katie - so cute!
Monogramming compliments of Mrs. Jo Marie.
I took this picture before we put the food out and then forgot to take another picture of the finished table! We kept the food simple - fruit salad (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and strawberries), Rolo delights, a homemade cheese ball and crackers (a huge hit), and cupcakes from Publix.
The hostesses - thank you ladies so much for all your help!
We can't wait to meet baby Caden!
