Tonight we went to Seven Hills for their Easter Egg Hunt and hot dog dinner. We had a great time, even though Kate was in a grumpy mood. Aunt Katie was so sweet to make these Easter buckets for the kids and drop them off this afternoon, just in time for us to take them to the egg hunt. Thank you Aunt Katie!
Ready for the egg hunt!
It was all I could do to get Kate to smile for this picture. I told her to pretend to laugh and success! I guess we'll have to fake it 'till we make it for the time being.
My big boy - he is close to sitting up all by himself. For now, this pose only lasts a few seconds.
She's off!
There were several big kids at the hunt too so Kate didn't get as many eggs as she would have liked. Unfortunately for her, she has her momma's speed (or the lack there of).
Mason sat on the side lines and watched all the action with Mimi.
Blowing bubbles.
There were all kinds of activities for the kids: egg race, a pinata, decorating cookies and a "guess the number of jellybeans" game but all Kate wanted to do was get her fingernails painted and her face painted.
My pretty ladybug.
This is going to be a busy week for us but we are looking forward to it! Easter is only a week away!
