Kate had her 4 year old check up a few weeks ago. She did fantastic and it helped that there were no shots - whew. Mason went along with us since it didn't make sense to take him to school first. Kate was a little leery of getting her blood pressure taken, but she did great while taking the eye exam. I reminded her to use her manners when Dr. Elzie came in and she acted bashful, but very polite. Thank goodness! Mason had a blast playing on the examining table with the paper and opening and closing the cabinet doors in the room.
Kate got an excellent report. At 4 years old she is 38 1/4 inches tall (20th percentile) and weighs 33 pounds (30th percentile). She is still at the lower end of the growth scale but I'm not too surprised since has consistently remained there since she was born.
Getting her blood pressure checked - she was unsure about that.
