We had another great Halloween! This year, Kate decided she wanted to be an alien and Mason went through a ninja, Optimus Prime and Batman costumes from Costco and each time there was a problem with the costume - too tight, too big or too small. After he refused to wear the Batman costume to the school party, I realized before trunk-or-treat at church that Sunday afternoon that his batman costume was entirely too small. Mom fail. So we frantically ran up to Walmart and dug through all the costumes to find a ninja costume - thank goodness!
Since Halloween was on a Tuesday night this year, the weekend before was packed with Halloween events. Mason's school costume parade and class party was that Friday morning.

My little batman. I'm sure other parents looked at him and thought "Poor little boy. His parent's didn't love him enough to bring his costume". Haha.
The only picture I have of Mason in his Batman costume. He had clothes on underneath it so I thought that was the reason it felt tight. Oops!
On Sunday evening, it was Timberlane's annual Trunk-or-Treat event! My parents work hard to host this each year and it seems to get better and better each time!
Group picture before we left!
So glad Camden and Cooper came! They didn't trick-or-treat with us this year so we missed seeing them on Halloween night.
Group picture of some of the kids. We missed several since they were still getting costumes on.
Audrey (aka Moana, the newest Disney Princess) and Kate, the Space Alien.
Ninja Mason and Kaz, aka Flash
Mason and Sawyer (aka Maui from Moana)
We had a great time!
On Halloween (Tuesday), my office participated in the agency's trick or treat event. Our theme this year was Seussville and the coordinators did a fantastic job decorating the conference room. Each part of the room was a reflection of one of Dr. Seuss' books.
The Lorax
Horton Hears a Who!
Oh the Places You Will Go
The Grinch
Thing 1 and Thing 2 from The Cat in the Hat
One of the guys in my office even dressed up like the Grinch!
After my work event, we stopped by Nanny's house and Mimi and Papa's house to show off the kid's costumes. Then we went to my parent's house to trick-or-treat with friends! We had several families decide not to join us this year so it ended up being us, the Stewarts and several families from my office (the Bruners, the Colonnas and the Richardsons).
Most of the kids...at least the ones I could get to stand still.

Happy Halloween!
