Easter 2017

We have had lots of Easter fun this year!

Our church egg hunt this year was the Saturday before Easter out at Centerville Conservation Clubhouse.  I love going out there for events - it is so pretty with lots of room to run!
 Cutest little egg hunters.

  I spy eggs...

Kate and her best friends Izzy and Audrey.

 Checking out their loot.

 Cooper found an egg!

Cousins!

The next Sunday, we went over to my parent's house for our annual family egg hunt.  After lunch, the kids dyed Easter eggs (with a little help).

 The dads supervised.

While the eggs dried it was time for the cut throat egg hunt.  Uncle Jordan instituted the "no rules" rule and I think he later regretted it.
 The hunt is on!

The Evers family pulled out the biggest win in a long time - finding both golden eggs, the silver egg and most of the money eggs!  It was a victorious day.

 Champions. :)

Somehow I didn't get a picture of Gigi or Granddaddy or Cooper (who was napping).  A big thank you to my parents for hosting another fantastic family egg hunt!

The next Easter event was Mason's school program!  Instead of dividing the programs over two days, they did all the classes together this year.
Group shot! Mason was in the very back, center.
My little man.

We were so glad Gigi and Daddy were able to come too!

Mason's class had their class party after the program and then headed out to hunt eggs!
Mason's teacher did the egg hunt a little different this year and let the kids go 5 at time to collect their eggs.  Mason reached his egg limit within a minute or two and was happy to show me what he had found.

Great job!

Yesterday (the Saturday before Easter), we met our friends at the park for our annual egg hunt.  Kate had a softball game at noon (Mason's team was off that day) so we were able to hunt eggs before we had to leave for the game.

They found a ton of eggs!
 All the kiddos.

Today (Easter!) the kids were excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought!

Kate had written a list of her Easter requests earlier: shopkins, chubby puppy and baby, Barbie clothes, num noms, chocolate bunny and jelly beans.

After church, we enjoyed another wonderful lunch at the University Club with the Olks.  This year the new renovations were complete so all the kids activities were under the covered area outside, over looking the football field.
 Balloons and face painting!

Once again, only one of our kids was willing to see the Easter Bunny.
Before we left church, we took a family picture in our Easter outfits...
Happy Easter from the Evers family!
