December Events

We have had a busy December and it's only the middle of the month! The first Friday night of December, we went to Dorothy B Oven for our annual Christmas Light family night.
Look at those cute little reindeer. :)
The kids were excited to run around and check out all the lights.  I tried not to pester them too much and limited the amount of pictures I took (except for when they asked me to take their picture).
 Christmas light selfie with momma!

Poor little Cooper passed out when we arrived.

Before we left we took a couple family pictures...
Cooper woke up right when we were leaving.
Next year, all four kids will be running around the park!

We had a wonderful time and a big thank you to Gigi and Granddaddy for organizing!

We have also been busy with getting our Christmas tree up and the yard decorated.  Daddy worked hard getting everything hooked up to a timer so we don't have to worry about plugging the lights on each night - wow!

Maybe next year I will buy some wreaths for the windows.
Dressed up and in the Christmas spirit!
I took this picture one Sunday morning before church since they were color coordinated in their red and green.
Watching Christmas shows has been another fun activity this month.  We have splurged a little this month and let the kids watch tv on a school night!

And one day last week this picture popped up in my Timehop on Facebook so I had to share:
Justin and I were so young!  This was at a church Christmas party at one of our friends house. Our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs.

At work, we had our annual Christmas luncheon.  Someone snapped a picture of Marleni, Jillian and I (the three budget analysts at Revenue).
And Kate drew this precious drawing of Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus:
Another fun event I attended was an ornament exchange with these lovely ladies (our book club girls):
From left to right: Me, Angela, Leslie, Kim, Sarah and Tracy
I'm so blessed to call them friends.

Last Friday night, we joined a group at church and went caroling to some of the shut ins.  We met at the building at 6 and rode in the church van to four different houses (not very close to one another).  It took longer than I anticipated, but the kids had a fun night.
 Practicing their songs.
The next Saturday morning, Kate attended her friend, Ramsie's, 7th bithday party at Blacks Pony Farm.  We always have a great time out there and Kate enjoyed playing with her friends from Kindergarten:
 Ramsie and Kate
 Stella and Kate
Ellie and Kate

The Saturday night, Kate and I were able to go with my parents to the Singing Christmas Tree at Bradfordville Baptist Church (it was out first time going).  It was amazing and we all really enjoyed it.  Kate said she was so glad we went and she can't wait to go again next year.

So beautiful and the program was amazing! I think this will become another Christmas tradition.
Wiped out!

We still have lots of events planned between now and Christmas and the New Year.  So much fun!
