Where did 2018 go?! We had a low key January that seemed to last longer than a month. I saw one person post a meme on Facebook that said, "January was the longest year". Haha.
Some of the things we did in January...
We enjoyed a nice dinner at Gigi and Granddaddy's on New Year's Day and the kids enjoyed playing outside.
Kate also signed up again for soccer! Unfortunately she wasn't on Anna Kate's team this season but I was proud of Kate and her positive attitude. When we told her they were on separate teams, she shrugged her shoulders and said that was ok because she would make new friends. :)
Cheering on our girl!
Enjoying cupcakes after a soccer game.
Melanie sent me this precious gift a couple weeks after Christmas that I will cherish. It's a kitchen towel with an image of one of Gaga's recipes, in her handwriting. Such a special and thoughtful gift!
We were able to go to the Clay Walker concert at the moon! He came for the second year in a row so we bought tickets with two other couples from my office (Nic and Laura Dukes and Sam and Jeri Richardson) and had a great night out!
Parent's night out!
I think 2019 might be the year of the concerts. We bought tickets to see George Strait in March and have our eyes on a couple more concerts later in the year. We will see!
