We rushed back from Blue Ridge on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (also my 35th birthday) to get ready for Thanksgiving on Thursday! Everyone came over to our house and we had a wonderful time eating together.

Daddy fried up a delicious cajun turkey!
We realize at the last minute no one had cooked gravy so we frantically pulled the gravy packet out of the turkey package and mixed it up! There can't be a proper Thanksgiving meal without gravy (although I don't eat it)!
Gigi usually brings a craft for the kids to do while we are getting the food prepared. This year they made Indian headbands.
After lunch the kids cooperated for a few pictures before everyone left mid afternoon...
