This year, we went with Daddy to the annual FSMS conference in St. Petersburg Beach. This year's conference was once again at the Tradewinds Resort, a family friendly place that includes the three story water slide on the beach. Gigi and Granddaddy were able to join us and we all had several days of fun! The conference was the same week as the start of school but Kate didn't mind missing a few days of school.
We explored the pool, the beach, but spent most of our time at the water slide. The first morning I was alone with the kids, we went down the water slide FIVE times. I was exhausted by lunch time. Kate was brave enough to go down the slide by herself so Mason and I went up together, Once Granddaddy arrived, he helped me take the kids down the slide and even Daddy was able to join us on the water slide our last day there.
They did it!
The first afternoon at the resort we did some exploring. We rode in the paddle boats and walked down to the other Guy Harvey resort to see the touch tank.
Always SO thankful my parents can join us each year. Otherwise the kids and I would be lonely.
Touching sea creatures:
We played a competitive game of putt-putt golf one evening after dinner:
Both Gigi and Kate got a hole-in-one!
On Thursday and Friday, we spent most of our time at the beach and sliding down the slide. The last time we stayed here, Mason was a baby, so he had a great time this year exploring everything for the first time.
Action shots on the slide:
Weeee!
Kate had been asking everyday to get her hair braided so one afternoon she did it! It turned out really cute and lasted a full week!
One family picture on the night of the banquet (our last night at the Tradewinds):
We had a great trip and can't wait for next year!
