Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentines Day!!

We scheduled a mini photo shoot with a new photographer (Lexi Martinez) at Dorothy B Oven and I was so pleased with how the pictures turned out.  Her backdrop was adorable and Mason cooperated with her better than I had ever seen him do before! Whew! I owe a special thank you to Gigi for meeting us at the park to help me!

Kate's First Date

A couple weeks ago, Justin took Kate out on their first Daddy/Daughter date night. I thought it was a neat idea that Justin came up with all on his own. He asked Kate what she wanted to do and she decided to go to the "museum" (aka Bass Pro Shop). Afterwards, she picked one of her favorite places to eat for dinner, McDonalds.  Kate was so excited to tell me all about their outing and showed me the special present her daddy bought for her: a horse necklace!

I'm sure this was just the first of many more dates to come.

Snow Day 2014

Well...it was suppose to be a snow day on January 29th but it ended up being just a sleet day instead. Schools were closed in Leon County so that meant daycare was closed too. My mom helped us by watching the kids that morning (Kate was sick with a fever) while I went to work and then I stayed home that afternoon. We kept an eye out for snow flurries, but the closest we got was sleet.

Meanwhile inside...The kids had a great time playing inside and we managed to stay warm despite the cold temperatures of 32 degrees. 

That day made me appreciate our warm Florida weather!
